Curriculum Overview
The curriculum at Mili University Faculty of Dentistry (DMD - Stomatology) is designed to provide a comprehensive education that integrates foundational knowledge, practical skills, and clinical expertise. Curriculum of the Faculty of Stomatology
The curriculum of the Faculty of Stomatology at Mili University is designed according to modern academic standards and contemporary dental education methodologies. The Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program is a comprehensive five-year academic program consisting of 10 semesters, followed by one full year of compulsory Clinical Internship (House Job).
The curriculum is carefully structured to gradually develop students’ scientific knowledge, practical abilities, clinical competence, professional ethics, and research skills. It integrates basic medical sciences, paraclinical education, and advanced clinical dental training to prepare students for professional dental practice and specialization. The program combines lectures, laboratory sessions, practical demonstrations, clinical training, seminars, case-based discussions, and community engagement activities to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
Structure of the Curriculum
The curriculum is divided into three major educational phases:

Each semester is designed to progressively strengthen students’ understanding of dental medicine and healthcare practice.
First Year (1st and 2nd Semesters)

Clinical Internship (House Job)
After successfully completing the five-year academic curriculum, students are required to undertake one full year of compulsory Clinical Internship (House Job), which extends over 48 weeks. This internship represents the final and most important stage of professional clinical training in the DMD program.
The House Job primarily covers the major subjects and specialties of the Clinical Sciences Department, with a special focus on stomatology-related disciplines. During this period, graduates work under the supervision of experienced specialists and academic staff in hospitals, dental clinics, and affiliated healthcare centers, where they gain advanced hands-on experience in patient care, diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical management.
