A joint cooperation agreement was signed with the Afghan Medical Students Association (AMSA).
Addressing the gathering, Abdul Saboor Momand, Deputy Director of Student Affairs at the National Medical University, discussed the foundation’s relationship with medical institutions and expressed his commitment to not miss any opportunity to develop the capacity of its students and young people. Dr. Murtaza Mayel Ahmadi, the head of AMSA’s communications, introduced the medical student association and added that the association is a member of the international medical student federation, which currently has 95 members from 100 countries. According to him, their association has signed similar memorandums of understanding with 21 public and private universities across the country, which they will be even more proud of signing with the National Medical University. Later, a memorandum of understanding was signed by Dr. Haider Khan Haider, dean of the Faculty of Therapeutic Medicine at the National Institute of Higher Education, and Dr. Murtaza Mayel Ahmadi, under which both sides will cooperate in building the capacity of students and implementing research projects.
