Fourth semester law students held "allegorical court"
This trial was related to a murder case, in which a woman was accused of killing her husband and the prosecutor claimed that the murder was intentional, but the defense lawyer considered the case to be legitimate defense and said that the woman committed the murder in self-defense. Finally, the case was ruled by the judges to be a violation of the right to legitimate defense in accordance with the relevant penal code. In this trial, which was held with the participation of the national academic and administrative assistants, the dean and professors of the Faculty of Law, after the mock trial, the administrative assistant, Professor Abdul Saboor Momand, evaluated the trial positively and considered this mock trial a step towards quality improvement. The academic assistant, Dr. Zabihullah Harith, in his encouraging speech, appreciated this practical work and emphasized that such practical work should be increased. Then, Mohib-ur-Rahman Rahmani, a member of the Leadership Council of the Defense Lawyers Association, made a speech and introduced this trial in accordance with all legal standards. At the end, the head of the trial, Professor Bilal Ahmad Khatir, responded to the participants and promised to hold other trials this semester.
