The prohibition of narcotics in the light of Islam; One-day seminar

Looking at the importance of the prohibition of narcotics in society, the Mili Institute of Higher Education arranged a seminar to discuss different aspects of narcotics in the life of human beings. Dr. Basheer Ahmed Mowahid, lecturer of the Department of Islamic Culture presented the comprehensive presentation. He focused on different types of narcotics, causes, and ways of prevention. Mr Mowahid also added that the educated generation particularly, teachers and young students have the core responsibility in the prevention and awareness of using narcotics. In addition to health harms like respiratory illness, mental health disorders, and heart diseases, the using of narcotics creates social and legal hazards of different forms in society. Mili Institute of Higher Education strives to arrange and implement different programs and projects for eradicating and awareness of using narcotics.
