National conference on: The status & importance of nurses & midwives

Discussing Nurses and Midwife's Status & Importance on National Stage at MIoHE Mili Institute of Higher Education hosted a national conference on 09/06/2023 aimed to discuss the importance and status of nurses and midwives in the country. The conference which was organized by the Department of Research, participated by a great number of researchers, representatives from the government and private departments including the Afghanistan Medical Council and other private universities. The program was inaugurated by the recitation of the Holy Quran. Then formally it was marked with a welcome note by the academic vice-chancellor of the Institute. In the second phase of the conference, the keynote speaker, Dr. Attaullah Saeedzi presented the results of a comprehensive research recently conducted. The research mainly focused on the status of nurses and midwives and deeply investigated the problems and challenges they face at their workplaces. The insightful research also focused on the satisfaction of nurses and midwives with their current status in the hospitals. The research presentation was followed by an academic discussion among the participants. The students also exchanged their views and asked the researchers about the current problems of nurses and midwives and the proposed solutions. Finally, Dr. Sadaqat Yaqubi, the chancellor of the Institution thanked everyone for their participation particularly the keynote presenter, Dr. Attaullah Saeedzi for the presentation of his insightful research. He further promised his full support for future conferences.
