Mili Institute of Higher Education organized a Dua and Holy Quran recitation program in which the leadership, academic, and administrative staff and students recited the Holy Quran and prayed for the victims of the earthquake in the western part of the country, Herat. Dr. Sadaqat Yaqubi, the chancellor of Mili Institute of Higher Education, spoke on the occasion and thanked everyone for their feeling of brotherhood and sincerity. He added that Islam has ordered us all to live and feel like brothers and just the same like the fingers of one hand. Later, the lecturer of Islamic culture, Habibullah Baghlani, gave a speech about Islamic brotherhood and humanitarian rights. He requested all the participants to participate in the donation campaign, and donate whatever amount they could. Mili Institute has decided to extend the donation campaign for a couple of days to collect cash money and other clothes and utensils to be delivered to the earthquake victims in Herat province.
