The Futsal ground at Mili Institute of Higher Education was Inaugurated: A Futsal ground was inaugurated on 2nd June 2024 at the campus of Mili Institute of Higher Education, with the presence of government officials as well as the leadership of the Afghanistan Football Federation. During the opening ceremony, Mohammad Yusuf Kargar, the President of the Afghanistan Football Federation, Hafiz Ahmad Jan, the Technical Deputy of Afghanistan Football Federation, and several other officials were present, who inaugurated the ground by cutting the ribbon. Dr. Sadaqat Yaqubi-Chancellor of university, in his speech, welcomed the delegation of the Afghanistan Football Federation and expressed hope that many sporting talents would be nurtured on this field. Dr. Yaqubi on behalf of the youth representatives, thanked the efforts of Khushhal Heydari, who cooperated in this regard and made the construction of this ground. Furthermore, he urged the students of Mili to shine in all sports. Mohammad Yusuf Kargar, the President of the Afghanistan Football Federation, considered this joint effort of the Mili Higher Education Institute towards the prosperity of the country as a significant achievement and called for more activities. He, on behalf of the Afghanistan Football Federation, assured of his cooperation and hoped that the players of this field would shine one day as part of the national team. Hafiz Ahmad Jan, the Technical Deputy of the aforementioned federation, considered the construction of this sports field a material and spiritual achievement and commemorated it as a significant achievement in the field of development and prosperity. Later, a match between the teams of Medical Students and Law and Political Sciences was held, in which the Law and Political Sciences team succeeded with a 4-3 victory against the medical team.
