The recognition ceremony for the appreciation of the services of former Chancellor.
Earlier
today, a ceremony was held in honor of Dr. Sadaqat Yaqubi, the former
Chancellor of the Milli Institute of Higher Education, in recognition of his
valuable services. In addition to the institute’s leadership, several
department heads also attended the event.
The
ceremony began with opening remarks by Associate Professor Khalid Ahmad Habib,
the current Chancellor of the institute, who expressed his gratitude for all
the efforts and services rendered by Dr. Sadaqat Yaqubi during his tenure.
According to Professor Habib, Dr. Yaqubi was a model of integrity, wisdom, and
effective leadership. Under his leadership, coordination, mutual understanding,
and a strong sense of responsibility among the leadership, staff, and students
were significantly strengthened. He added that the institute appreciates this
dedicated figure and that he himself would strive to preserve the existing
achievements and continue the path of progress. Mr. Habib further requested Dr.
Yaqubi not to end his cooperation and to remain a continuous academic and
administrative contributor.
He
also expressed his appreciation for Mohammad Hanif Moaz, the Academic Vice
Chancellor and former Acting Chancellor, who assumed leadership during a
critical period without creating a leadership gap and managed the
responsibilities with competence.
Saeedurrahman
Ehsas, the institute’s legal and social advisor, reflected on the achievements
made during Dr. Yaqubi’s tenure. He attributed the current order and discipline
of the institute to Dr. Yaqubi’s efforts and acknowledged that all colleagues
worked hand-in-hand with him to reach this point.
In
his remarks, Dr. Sadaqat Yaqubi, former Chancellor of the Milli Institute of
Higher Education, referred to the difficult and challenging phases that
required serious management. He emphasized that without the support of his
colleagues, achieving success would not have been possible. He reaffirmed his
commitment to continue supporting the academic institution in the future and
stressed that his ongoing cooperation in this noble mission would persist.
Mohammad
Hanif Moaz, the Academic Vice Chancellor who had also served as Acting Chancellor
for a period, attributed the success of his interim leadership to Dr. Yaqubi’s
effective strategies, which allowed the institute’s affairs to proceed smoothly
during his time in charge.
At
the conclusion of the event, as a token of appreciation for their efforts and
contributions, honorary turbans were placed on the heads of both Dr. Sadaqat
Yaqubi and Mohammad Hanif Moaz by the institute’s leadership.
