Conclusion of the Three-Day Free Medical Camp for Returning Refugees in Torkham
This
camp, launched by the initiative of the Mili Institute of Higher Education
in collaboration with Life Pearl Pharma, provided medical examinations
and treatment over the past three days to hundreds of patients among returning
refugees in Torkham.
The
team of specialist doctors from the Mili Institute of Higher Education diagnosed
and treated patients in various medical fields and distributed necessary
medications free of cost.
This
free medical camp operated for three days in Torkham and, as part of its social
responsibility and humanitarian compassion, continued to stand alongside
returning citizens and fulfill its human duty.
According
to the doctors, long journeys combined with extreme heat had caused illnesses
among many of the returnees, but they were treated with patience and a warm
attitude.
The
leadership of the Mili Institute of Higher Education stated that the goal of
the camp was to support citizens returning after years of migration who now
face numerous challenges. This was not merely a treatment camp but also a
thoughtful and conscious effort reflecting patriotism, kindness, respect, and
human empathy.
Mili remains committed, as always, to supporting its fellow
citizens in all difficult circumstances and will continue to stand beside them.
The
influx of Afghan returnees to Torkham intensified when the neighboring country
ruthlessly forced Afghan migrants to return, compelling them to abandon their
shelters, education, healthcare, employment, and other basic needs.
