Delegation of the Private Universities Association Meets with the Chancellor of the Mili Institute of Higher Education.
A delegation from the Private Universities Association of
Afghanistan, led by its president, Alhaj Ahmad Popal, met with the Chancellor
of the Mili Institute of Higher Education, Associate Prof. Khalid Ahmad Habib.
The meeting, held at the Mili, was attended by
the Association’s Executive Director, the Academic Vice
Chancellor, several other members, and some Chancellors of private
universities.
Associate Prof. Khalid Ahmad Habib expressed his
gratitude for the delegation’s presence, warmly welcomed the members, and
emphasized the importance of mutual coordination to strengthen the private
higher education sector.
Mr. Popal also expressed appreciation for the
support shown by the Mili Institute and elaborated on the activities of private
universities, the need to reform the higher education system, current
challenges, and possible solutions. In addition to these discussions,
constructive suggestions were exchanged, which were deemed beneficial for the
growth of the private higher education sector.
Both
parties emphasized the continuation of mutual cooperation and pledged to work
together through joint initiatives, effective programs, and coordinated
approaches to standardize and improve the quality of higher education in the
country.
