Seminar on the Importance and Practical Application of Blood Group Identification

Organized by the Health and Psychological Center of Mili University, the seminar titled “The Importance and Practical Application of Blood Group Identification” was presented by Dr. Hamidur Rahman Shahab, the head of the center.

During the seminar, students were given a detailed explanation of the procedure for determining blood groups. Afterwards, their blood samples were collected, their blood groups identified, and special identification cards were distributed to them.

Dr. Shahab highlighted the significance of this process, noting that knowing one’s blood group plays a vital role not only during emergencies but also in medical treatments, surgical operations, and blood transfusions.

The purpose of this seminar was to enhance students’ health-related knowledge and to enrich the blood bank of Mili University, ensuring better preparedness for providing assistance and services in emergency situations.
